I have been serving as your local State Farm Agent in the Cook, MN Area for more than 15 years. My Team and I have more than 75 combined years of business experience and more than 20 years as Licensed State Farm Agents. We enjoy building long-term relationships with our customers. We help people with their Auto Insurance and Home Insurance. Whether they are renting and need Renters insurance, own a condo and need Condo insurance, own a home and need Homeowners insurance, or own a farm and need Farm/Ranch insurance; we can help protect their residence. We take the time to speak with everyone about the importance of Life insurance and Health insurance, to help protect your paycheck. Working with small business owners for their Business insurance and planning needs is rewarding since I am a small business owner myself. My agency serves the Cook/Lake Vermilion area, the Iron Range/NE Minnesota, as well as the entire state of Minnesota. We love to meet face-to-face with our customers but are also willing to connect via technology (Phone, FaceTime, Text, Email) if that is your preference.

I grew up in a small town in Northern Minnesota. I appreciate how members of small communities come together to support each other in both good and difficult times. I earned my BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as well as a Minor in Accounting. Prior to that, I earned my AAS in Small Business Management from the University of Minnesota-Crookston. I am an active member of the Cook Area Chamber of Commerce, Cook Lions Club, Vermilion Lake Association and Lake Vermilion Trail Joint Powers Board. I also served as Chairman for the recent McGregor All School Reunion. I currently serve on the Community Needs Health Assessment Group in Cook. I recently completed two 3 year terms as a member of the Board of Directors for Volunteers in Education (VinE). I am a strong supporter of North Woods School and Northwoods Friends of the Arts. I am also proficient in American Sign Language.

My wife and I are the proud parents of three adult children. She is a retired 3rd grade teacher from North Woods School. We are both very active in our local church. Our leisure time is often spent fishing and boating on area lakes.
